Acute aquatic toxicity means the intrinsic property of a substance to be injurious to an aquatic organism in a shortterm aquatic exposure to that substance. (CLP, Annex I, 4.1.1.1. (a)).
Short-term (acute) hazard means for classification purposes the hazard of a substance or mixture caused by its acute toxicity to an organism during short-term aquatic exposure to that substance or mixture. (CLP, Annex I, 4.1.1.1(b)).
Chronic aquatic toxicity means the intrinsic property of a substance to cause adverse effects to aquatic organisms during aquatic exposures which are determined in relation to the life-cycle of the organism. (CLP, Annex I, 4.1.1.1(g)).
Long-term (chronic) hazard means for classification purposes the hazard of a substance or mixture caused by its chronic toxicity following long-term exposure in the aquatic environment. (CLP, Annex I, 4.1.1.1(j)).

● | Hazardous to the aquatic environment (long-term (chronic)), category 4 | Aquatic Chronic 4: H413 |
Endocrine disruptor means a substance or a mixture that alters one or more functions of the endocrine system and consequently causes adverse effects in an intact organism, its progeny, populations or subpopulations. (CLP, Annex I, 4.2.1.1).
● | Endocrine disruptor for the environment, category 1 | ED ENV 1: EUH430 |
● | Endocrine disruptor for the environment, category 1 | ED ENV 2: EUH431 |
PBT means a Persistent, Bioaccumulative and Toxic substance or mixture that meets the classification criteria set out in Section 4.3.2.1 (criteria are quite extensive, please see in CLP). (CLP, Annex I, 4.3.1.1).
vPvB means a very Persistent and very Bioaccumulative substance or mixture that meets the classification criteria set out in Section 4.3.2.2 (criteria are quite extensive, please see in CLP). (CLP, Annex I, 4.3.1.1).

Substance hazardous to the ozone layer means a substance which, on the basis of the available evidence concerning its properties and its predicted or observed environmental fate and behaviour may present a danger to the structure and/or the functioning of the stratospheric ozone layer. This includes substances which are listed in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 1005/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer. (CLP, Annex I, 5.1.1).
● | Hazardous for the ozone layer, category 1 | Ozone 1: H420 |
